Life Cycles |
This lesson was well thought out to best work with science. It's a lot of the major aspects relating to life cycles. Students were learning about traits and ways of living to better understand the concept of life. In this lesson, students were building a zoo home to home an animal of their choice. I gave the students the resources they needed to find the correct measurements and needs that each animal would need. The student choose between 6 animals that I researched. This way they were using web pages that had effective material on them. Students were asked to complete a graphic organizer and a sample drawing of what they would have in the zoo home. Each graphic organizer was looked over and altered depending on the needs of the animals. Once the graphic organizer was approved students got to draw a final draft, and share with peers.

Student Teaching |
Within this document there are eight different lesson that were planned related to nouns. This lesson talks about four different types of nouns in grammar at the third grade level. These Nouns are plural, singular, common, and proper. These different styles of nouns were split into two groups to make it more efficient learning for the children. On each of these lessons the student scored three grade levels above starting point or one grade level above starting point. This was a huge improvement. This lesson is packed with lots of resources for Journeys and jamboard. These resources make learning easy and efficient for the learners.

Learn to Eat |
For my Identify/Assessing in Special Education I had the opportunity to create a lesson plan for a special education student in Castlewood. The lesson plan was designed for a severe needs student who was learning basic skills. My goal for the student was to teach him how to eat 50% of his meal on his own. Throughout this process I was able to practice my lesson with the student and keep records of how well he was doing. This was a great experience to see how a special education lesson plan was carried out.

Comprehension |
This lesson plan was written in my Evidence-Based Reading for 4th - 8th grade. Students are going to be participating in a near-pod lesson. Explaining to them the way they can comprehend reading and new learning strategies. I demonstrate reading comprehension and then slowly release them to do the process independently—creating this lesson plan taught me how to gradually release students to make sure that they fully understand the concepts. This lesson plan was designed for 5th graders. We taught the lesson plan in a small group to my classmates.

Multisyllabic Decoding |
The very first lesson plan I made was assigned in my Evidence-Based Reading class was about multisyllabic decoding. The multisyllabic lesson plan was designed for second graders. The lesson plan was created to teach students about multisyllabic words and how to break them apart and read them when they are broken apart. This lesson taught we have to construct a lesson plan on jam-board. It taught me how effective it could be to have students interact during the lesson. I taught this lesson through Loom. This gave me a better idea about teaching students properly and gave me tools that I could use when teaching students online.

Add and Subtract within 100 |
Add and Subtract within 100 was the very first math lesson plan that I have created. Developing this lesson was a lot of hard work; however, it was a great learning process. To set the lesson plan, I used Kendall Hunt's k-12 illustration for mathematics as a guide. This outline was beneficial, and I learned a lot from creating a lesson plan based on a curriculum. It took a lot of work and learning to understand the curriculum and place it into words. However, in the end, creating this lesson plan was exciting, and it had taught me a lot about the importance of questions in a lesson plan.

Write a Narrative 3 |
This was the final mini-lesson we created in Language Arts Methods. This final mini-lesson was designed to teach Kindergarteners to write a narrative story using a drawing, dictating, and events. In this mini-lesson, we needed to use a Mentor Text. I choose to use a book by Mo Willems to help teach students how to add speech bubbles to a narrative text. I created an interactive anchor chart, and I used the Writing Strategies book to help develop my lesson. This lesson was taught in our class. This lesson was recorded, and we had to comment on our strengths and weakness in our lesson. Creating this lesson gave me an excellent idea about using multiple tools to keep students interested.

Write a Narrative 2 |
This mini-lesson was written in an Language Arts Methods class. This was the second mini-lesson that we wrote. The lesson had to be about writing. I used the Writing Strategies book to help me find a great writing lesson. This lesson aims to teach fourth graders how to write a narrative but learn how to add suspense to the writing to keep readers interested. I used an anchor chart and a telephone tool to help students develop well-organized narrative writing. The lesson starts by explaining how I added suspense to my Cinderella story. Then I had students gradually complete the goal of the I can statement.

Write a Narrative |
I developed this lesson plan in my Language Arts Methods class. In this lesson, I designed it for teaching second graders how to write a narrative story. Students are using a picture to help them learn how to write a narrative story. They are learning how to describe actions, thoughts, and feelings in a text. The students will go through a series of steps to get to their final creation. This lesson plan was the first lesson plan designed is a series of three that we made concerning writing mini-lessons.

Fluency |
In my Evidence-Based Reading for 4th - 8th grade, we were assigned to create a lesson plan. I choose to do a lesson plan on Fluency. The goal of the lesson was for students to read a grade-level passage with prosody. I used multiple materials such as Jamboard, prosody rate scale, and two articles for the lesson. This lesson plan gave me great background of the importance of structure in a lesson plan, giving me great ideas for future lesson plans. |
